When the GPS Says Recalculating
Faith Compass
The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.
The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way.
Morning Light
We’ve all heard that calm voice from the dashboard. “Recalculating.” You missed the turn, and the GPS doesn’t yell or sigh. It just finds a new way to get you there. That’s a lot like God. You took the wrong exit, made the wrong call, or things didn’t go your way. And He’s not shocked. He doesn’t throw His hands up and leave you on the side of the road. He knows where you are right now, and He knows the way home from here. Your plans may change, but His purpose for you doesn’t. Keep your eyes on Him and keep driving.
Walk It Out
Before you make a decision today, even a small one, ask God to lead you.
Stop beating yourself up over a past wrong turn. Let God’s grace point you forward.
Quiet Place
Lord, You know where I’ve been and where I’m headed. When I take a wrong turn, thank You for never giving up on me. Lead me one step at a time. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
