This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
Morning Light
Monday after the big game—whether your team celebrated or not, the scoreboard’s reset. Life does too. Yesterday’s wins, losses, late nights, or quiet regrets? They’re behind us. God’s mercies hit refresh at sunrise—no flags thrown, no penalties. He hands you a brand-new day, wrapped in His love, ready for you to step in with joy. What if today starts not with “ugh, Monday” but with “thank You, Lord, for this fresh start”?
Walk It Out
Say Psalm 118:24 out loud—let it shift your mindset before the coffee even kicks in.
Text or tell one person (family, friend, coworker) “God’s mercies are new today—how can I pray for your fresh start?”
Quiet Place
Lord, thank You for this new day and Your mercies that never run out. Help me rejoice in the day You’ve made, leave yesterday behind, and walk in Your faithfulness. “Great is your faithfulness.” Renew my strength and joy today. Amen.
