Taste and See
Faith Compass
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk…
Morning Light
Nobody ever got full by reading a menu. You can study the pictures, read the reviews, and even hear your buddy rave about the burger. But until you take a bite, you don’t know. God invites us to do the same with Him. Don’t just read about Him. Don’t just hear about Him. Taste Him. Open the Bible and take a verse. Say a prayer and see what happens. Notice how He shows up in an ordinary workday. The more you taste, the more you’ll want. And once you’ve had a bite of His goodness, you’ll never settle for leftovers. Come hungry. He’s set a place for you.
Walk It Out
Read one short passage slowly today. Ask, “Lord, what are You saying to me here?”
Tell someone one good thing God has done for you this week.
Quiet Place
Father, I want more of You. Not just the idea of You, but the real thing. Give me an appetite for Your Word and Your presence. Thank You for being so good to me. “For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things” (Psalm 107:9).
