Hold Fast
Faith Compass
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.
Morning Light
Hope gets tested when the wait gets long. That is when the enemy wants you to loosen your grip. Don’t. Hold fast. Not to a feeling. Not to a deadline you wrote yourself. Nor the written hope still on the mirror. Hold fast to the hope you profess, because the One who promised is faithful. You don’t have to feel strong to take heart. You take heart because your hope is in the Lord. He has not forgotten what He said. He has not changed His mind. Keep your hands on the promise and your heart turned toward Him. He is faithful. That is enough reason to hold on.
Walk It Out
Speak one promise of God out loud and hold to it.
When doubt talks, answer it with, “He who promised is faithful.”
Encourage someone else who is tired of waiting.
Quiet Place
Lord, I hold fast to the hope I have in You. You are faithful. You keep Your Word. Strengthen my heart. Help me take courage today. I trust You with what I cannot see. I am Yours. Amen.
